Exeter | Office-Based | Full-Time
£35,000 Base + Uncapped Commission + Additional bonus for new active accounts
A growing, UK Solar distribution business is hiring a commercially driven Business Development Executive to play a critical role in its next phase of growth. The right person will directly influence customer acquisition, repeat revenue and long-term commercial structure.
As one of the first commercial hires, you’ll have real influence, meaningful autonomy, and the chance to build something from the ground up — with strong long-term progression as the business grows.
The Opportunity
This is a high-impact, new-business-focused role within a scaling environment.
You will be responsible for:
- Identifying and securing new B2B solar customers
- Building pipeline from scratch through proactive outreach
- Converting first orders into repeat, long-term accounts
- Managing pricing and commercial conversations
- Protecting margin while driving revenue
- Helping shape structure, process and sales cadence as the business grows
