Co-Founder & Director

With over 25 years in recruitment and leadership, Sarah is a trusted partner to leaders of fast-growth SMEs. She has supported businesses across tech, SaaS, and other high-growth industries, often at pivotal moments post-investment or acquisition when getting hiring right is critical.

She combines data-driven insight with deep market experience to identify exactly what’s needed to build the right team, from securing senior and commercial talent to running recruitment health-checks that strengthen future hiring.

As Co-Founder of Tribus People, Sarah brings together practical business knowledge and academic insight from her MBA at the University of Exeter. She mentors start-ups through Exeter Innovation, is an alumna of the Goldman Sachs 10KSB programme, and has been recognised as one of Exeter’s Top 100 Influential Women.

Izzy Sanders

Consultant

Izzy specialises in building high-performing sales teams, taking a partnership-led, quality-first approach that helps ambitious companies scale with intent.

With a degree in Psychology and a genuine interest in understanding people, she brings a curious, evidence-driven approach to recruitment. Izzy cuts through the sales spin to identify real indicators of high performance, ensuring the talent she recommends has the track record, mindset and capability to deliver.

Beyond recruitment, she has dedicated significant time to fundraising for charities, reflecting her drive to go the extra mile for people.

Helen Shaw

Helen brings a unique mix of creativity, commercial insight and people expertise to her work with fast-growth businesses. With a degree in Graphic Design, and a background in marketing, e-commerce and customer service for national brands, Helen understands how brand, people and customer experience connect to drive growth.

Recognised for her meticulous approach and incisive questioning that uncovers what businesses truly need, she places herself inside a business to understand its challenges and opportunities.

An experienced leadership, talent and development professional with over 20 years’ experience, David designs and delivers solutions for a broad range of fast growth businesses.

Having worked on multiple projects with a diverse mix of clients throughout the UK, he believes in building long term, trusting, collaborative relationships, taking time to explore and understand their specific challenges to deliver the best possible outcomes.  An accomplished facilitator, he works with both leaders and teams to create alignment, engagement, and high performance, balancing individual, team and organisational needs and priorities. 

Jeremy Lowen

With an MSc Organisational Psychology & BSc Psychology, Jeremy brings over 13 years experience in developing teams, leaders and organisational cultures to create sustainable high performance.  An expert facilitator, he has worked with clients in the UK and overseas and believes that work should be a place where people can thrive; where they can develop, find meaning, feel like they belong and be empowered to deliver amazing things.

Matt Jenkins​

Senior Consultant

Matt is a passionate and creative business mentor and coach, highly experienced in coaching, training and development. He has specific experience in building and supporting high performing teams across Europe, Scandinavia and the Americas and has also lived and worked in the Asia Pacific region. 

Outside of work, Matt is a trustee of a charity that designs and manufactures 3D printed limb devices for children and adults who are missing limbs and is also an author and illustrator of twelve children’s books having created “Chops”, the world’s first limb different children’s book character.

Chris Milliner

Senior Consultant

Chris is a dynamic business change and transformation consultant and coach with over 30-years’ practical experience in the UK and overseas, across the public and private sectors and various industries, including: management consulting, defence, software development, healthcare, Home Office, mobile telecoms, automotive and engineering.

Chris has worked at an executive and operational level and has significant experience of advising and coaching senior managers as well as delivering output. Educated toMasters Degree level in Business Management and Economics, he is a pragmatic employer of best-practice methodologies.

Laura Pelling

Senior Consultant

Laura is an experienced commercial leader who specialisies in helping organisations to activate strategy and align teams around a common set of goals to deliver their commercial ambitions.

She is adept at leading organisational change, including restructures and setting up new business units, and has extensive experience in working with growing SME’s, recently as a Board member for a business that grew from £6 million to £10 million during her time with them. Laura has a Diploma in Business Management, is an Accredited Coach, and has won numerous awards for Leadership and Mentoring.
