They're looking for someone who can generate opportunities, build relationships and use marketing as a commercial tool to win new business.

The Role

This is a commercial growth position where you'll use business development, relationship building and targeted marketing to generate new opportunities, win new clients and drive measurable revenue growth.

Working closely with the leadership team, you'll identify new markets, develop lead generation campaigns, build referral partnerships and strengthen relationships with clients, introducers and key stakeholders.

You'll inherit a strong brand, an established digital presence and excellent marketing foundations, allowing you to focus on what really matters - creating opportunities that translate into new business. Over time, you'll also take ownership of the firm's marketing activity as it transitions from an external agency, ensuring every campaign, communication and initiative has a clear commercial purpose.

You'll be encouraged to embrace AI and emerging technologies, identifying new ways to improve lead generation, automate marketing activity, enhance client engagement and support the firm's ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver business development strategies that generate measurable new business opportunities.
  • Build and nurture relationships with referral partners, introducers, professional contacts and key stakeholders.
  • Generate and manage a healthy pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and client development across the business.
  • Plan and deliver targeted lead generation campaigns with measurable commercial outcomes.
  • Work alongside senior leaders to support pitches, proposals and business development initiatives.
  • Manage CRM activity, pipeline reporting and campaign performance.
  • Take ownership of marketing activity as it transitions from an external agency.
  • Coordinate digital marketing, PR, events, content and communications to support business development objectives.
  • Measure ROI and continuously improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Identify and implement AI-powered tools and technologies that improve marketing efficiency, client engagement and lead generation.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in Business Development, Commercial Growth or Marketing within a professional services environment.
  • A track record of generating new business opportunities and delivering measurable commercial results.
  • Experience developing lead generation campaigns that convert into genuine business opportunities.
  • Excellent networking, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercially minded, proactive and motivated by achieving results.
  • Experience using CRM systems to manage opportunities and report on pipeline performance.
  • Confident balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
  • Experience within legal, accountancy or another professional services environment would be highly advantageous.
