The Role
As Product Owner, you’ll play a pivotal role in defining the future of a product that’s evolving from a legacy system into a smarter, faster, and more user-focused platform. Working closely with 2 development teams and collaborating across the business, you’ll translate vision and strategy into a clear, actionable roadmap. This is a hands-on, strategic role that requires balancing business needs, user feedback, and technical constraints to deliver real value.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Translate product strategy into actionable tasks and clear development goals
- Manage and prioritise the product backlog in collaboration with stakeholders
- Break down epics into user stories and refine features for development
- Ensure backlog items are well-defined and ready for sprint planning
- Work closely with developers (UK and overseas) to deliver features on time
- Attend key Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews)
- Present new features and updates to internal stakeholders
- Create Help Centre articles and user-facing release notes
- Engage with the user community to gather feedback and understand pain points
- Monitor discussions, attend online community events, and identify opportunities for improvement

Essential Skills & Experience
- PSPO qualification or equivalent knowledge
- Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Project Manager
- Proven understanding of Scrum and Agile project delivery
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Experience using JIRA or other project management software
- Ability to interpret and act on stakeholder needs quickly and accurately
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with SaaS platforms
- Understanding of the arts, cultural venues, or events sector
- Experience writing help centre content or user documentation
