The Role

We’re looking for a highly organised Finance Administrator to join the team on a part-time basis.

This is a varied role, offering the opportunity to support the team and its clients. You’ll take responsibility for progressing cases, keeping clients updated and making sure the administration behind the advice process runs smoothly.

For someone looking to develop their career in finance, there is also plenty of opportunity to broaden your knowledge.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing client administration from application through to completion.
• Completing and progressing protection applications through provider systems and portals.
• Keeping on top of outstanding information and ensuring cases continue to move forward.
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients, providing clear and professional updates.
• Liaising with lenders, providers, advisers and other third parties.
• Supporting financial advisers with administration, research and preparation for client meetings.
• Maintaining accurate client records and keeping internal systems up to date.
• Assisting with financial reports, suitability letters and supporting documentation.
• Supporting new business processing and ensuring regulatory and compliance requirements are followed.
• Helping with general office administration as part of a small, collaborative team.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll suit this role if you’re organised, approachable and comfortable taking ownership of your workload.

You’ll enjoy working closely with clients and colleagues, be confident managing several cases at once and have the attention to detail needed when working within a regulated environment.

Previous experience within financial services would be particularly useful, especially within mortgages, protection or financial planning.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong administration, organisation and case management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Confidence speaking with clients, advisers, lenders and providers.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working independently and using your own initiative.
• Good general IT skills.

Experience of financial planning would be highly advantageous, as would experience using financial planning software such as Intelliflo Office.

Why You’ll Love This Role

• Join a friendly, close-knit and supportive team.
• Flexible start and finish times to suit the successful candidate.
• Part-time hours of approximately 24–28 hours per week.
• Free onsite parking.
• Opportunity to broaden your experience across mortgages, protection and wealth management.
• The chance to take real ownership of your work within an established business.
• Opportunities to develop your knowledge and career within financial services.

If you’re an experienced administrator looking for a varied role where you can build strong client relationships and become an important part of a supportive team, we’d love to hear from you.
