Human Resources Director

Bristol- Hybrid (Some travel expected)

c£90,000pa (poss negotiation) + Car Allowance, Equity, Bonus and Generous Benefits

Our software client is undergoing significant transformation, scaling organically and through acquisition. This role is pivotal in aligning people and culture, professionalising development plans, and driving long-term organisational success. Whilst this is a strategic role you will also be very 'hands-on' and enjoy the operational element of the role, it is thought the role could develop into a more senior strategic position in time.

The Role

  • Lead people strategy across a multi-site organisation, aligning teams and cultures post-acquisition.
  • Leadership and development of the people team.
  • Develop and professionalise career pathways, leadership development, and succession planning.
  • Drive transformation through organisational design, talent assessment, and workforce planning.
  • Oversee total rewards, HR governance, and compliance, ensuring a strong foundation for sustainable growth.
  • Champion ESG, DEI, and engagement initiatives to build a high-performance, values-driven culture.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven HR leadership in a scaling business.
  • Strong M&A experience, including integration and change management.
  • Track record in aligning people, culture, and operations in a growing, dynamic environment.
  • Expertise in talent development, performance management, and organisational design.
  • Experience in a software, SaaS, platform or tech business would be an advantage.
