Business Development Manager
Remote
£45,000pa + Commission (Double OTE)
The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying, targeting, and winning new business opportunities. You’ll work closely with marketing to convert leads, drive product demos, and help grow the client base across a range of sectors.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Generate and qualify leads through self-sourcing and inbound marketing
- Deliver compelling software demonstrations to prospective clients
- Manage the full sales cycle- from outreach to closing deals
- Maintain accurate records of opportunities in Salesforce
- Work closely with the Sales Manager to review funnel health and mitigate risks
- Attend industry events and customer groups to represent the business
- Build strong relationships with new clients to support long-term retention
What We’re Looking For
- Significant B2B sales experience (ideally in tech or software)
- Proven success in lead generation and new business development
- Confident communicator with strong presentation skills
- Experience managing multiple opportunities and priorities
- Comfortable working to targets and KPIs
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms like Salesforce
- Knowledge of finance or accounting a plus
