Marketing Executive

Part-time FTC to cover maternity leave (3 days a week)
Exeter/Hybrid
Circa £25k pro rata

Are you a creative and organised marketer with a passion for learning and growth? We’re looking for a part-time Marketing Executive to join a successful and close-knit team on a fixed-term contract.  Through their LMS, training delivery and coaching, they enable leaders, sales professionals and customer-facing roles to reach new levels of success.

You'll use your marketing skills to increase brand awareness and generate on-profile prospective leads through increasing sign-ups to training ‘taster’ sessions and events.

You’ll be joining a multi award-winning team, based outside of Exeter, and be part of their global network.

Scope:

To identify and engage with on-profile companies in the South-West, before booking directors into training taster sessions or meetings with a sales consultant. We are looking for someone who can competently develop and bring in warm leads through digital and off-line activities.

The Role
As the Marketing Executive, you’ll play a pivotal role in crafting and delivering the company’s messaging across social channels. Working closely with the UK (and occasionally, the US Home Office), you’ll be instrumental in planning and executing campaigns that connect with prospects and clients and highlight the value of their training programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data management: research on-profile companies, build data spreadsheets using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Zoom, support GDPR compliance.
  • Update the company CRM system (HubSpot)
  • Plan, create, deliver and track marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email and content marketing.
  • Develop marketing collateral, such as printed invitations, brochures, landing pages, client case studies, presentations and exhibitions.
  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance using insights to refine strategies and report on ROI.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
  • Support sponsorships through branded material and content creation
  • Follow event management processes, e.g., calling RSVPs to confirm attendance
  • Manage market research responses.

About You
We’re looking for someone eager to learn, detail-oriented, and excited to make an impact. While we don’t expect years of experience, familiarity with marketing techniques and the ability to work independently is essential.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a B2B marketing role
  • Strong writing and grammar skills to create accurate and engaging copy.
  • Experience managing LinkedIn campaigns to drive leads (preferred).
  • Familiarity with tools like HubSpot and Canva (preferred)
  • Organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Utilise AI  experience to create marketing efficiencies (preferred)
  • A team-player attitude, with a willingness to take on ad hoc tasks.
  • Ideally, you will have a full UK driving licence as the office is in a semi-rural setting and has free parking on site.

What’s in It for You?
If you’re seeking a role where you can bring your skills to a friendly and supportive team, this is it. You’ll enjoy flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to grow your marketing expertise.
