We’re working with a long-established and fast-growing technology business operating at the forefront of healthcare data and digital transformation. With a strong reputation for innovation and trusted relationships across the NHS and wider healthcare sector, the organisation helps clinical and operational teams manage, protect and leverage critical information more effectively.

As the business continues to expand its commercial footprint, they are now looking to appoint a Sales Account Manager who will play a key role in strengthening customer relationships and supporting the growth of their UK&I client base.

The Role

This is a hands-on, relationship-led role that blends account management, consultative sales and opportunity development within the healthcare sector.

You’ll take responsibility for managing and growing a portfolio of healthcare accounts - building strong relationships, understanding customer needs and identifying opportunities to expand product and service adoption. Working closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Customer Services, Professional Services and Product, you’ll ensure a seamless experience throughout the sales cycle and beyond.

The ideal candidate is proactive, commercially minded and comfortable engaging stakeholders at multiple levels within healthcare organisations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of healthcare accounts
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
    • Develop and execute account plans focused on retention and growth
    • Identify opportunities within existing customers and support new business initiatives
    • Lead contract discussions and collaborate on bid and pre-tender activity within the NHS
    • Maintain accurate CRM data (Salesforce) including forecasts and activity tracking
    • Produce reporting and insights on account performance
    • Work closely with internal teams to support customer onboarding, adoption and satisfaction
    • Stay informed on market developments, customer requirements and competitive insights

What We’re Looking For

  • Demonstrable experience in software, SaaS or technology account management
    • Experience selling into healthcare (NHS or private) highly desirable
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
    • Skilled in managing full account lifecycles, from engagement to long-term relationship growth
    • Organised, detail-oriented and confident juggling multiple priorities
    • Comfortable using Salesforce and familiar with sales methodologies (e.g., SPIN, MEDDIC, Solution Selling)
    • Proactive, commercially aware and able to spot opportunities for expansion
    • Confident building value-led relationships across complex customer environments
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment

Why You’ll Love This Role

You’ll join a respected healthtech organisation with a long-standing presence in the sector and a strong reputation for quality. This is a chance to take ownership of meaningful customer relationships, influence commercial outcomes and work in a supportive, collaborative environment where your ideas and initiative make a clear impact. You’ll enjoy autonomy, a varied workload and the opportunity to contribute to an organisation making a real difference across healthcare.
