Business Development Co-ordinator
East Devon | Hybrid (1 day a week) | Full Time | £35,000
An established, growing organisation in East Devon is looking for a Business Development Co-ordinator to support its commercial growth and client development activity. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, this is a varied, fast-paced role combining lead generation, bid support, CRM management and sales coordination. Ideal for someone highly organised, proactive and confident managing multiple priorities.
The Role
You’ll play a central role in keeping business development activity moving, from identifying new opportunities through to proposal support and client onboarding.
Key Responsibilities:
Pipeline & Lead Support
- Research and identify new prospects
- Qualify and nurture inbound and warm leads
- Maintain and progress opportunities in the CRM
- Support client onboarding and handovers
CRM & Reporting
- Keep pipeline data accurate and up to date
- Produce monthly sales and performance reports
- Track conversions, forecasting and activity levels
Bids & Proposals
- Draft and proofread proposals and tender responses
- Manage bid deadlines and coordinate internal input
- Maintain a library of case studies and core content
Marketing & Coordination
- Liaise with external suppliers where required
- Monitor inbound enquiries and route appropriately
- Ensure sales materials are current and on-brand
Events & Insight
- Support attendance at networking and industry events
- Capture and log follow-ups
- Monitor competitor and market activity
About You
- Strong written communication and attention to detail
- Organised and process-driven
- Confident engaging with a range of stakeholders
- Proactive and comfortable working independently
- Experience with CRM systems and/or bid support advantageous
